Description
An acousto-optically switched, diode pumped Nd:YAG laser system with a PLC control interface. High average powers are produced, at the fundamental frequency of operation, via a modular cavity design based around a standard gain module configuration. The system is based on the industrially proven AO4 oscillator, amplified in a power oscillator, power amplifier configuration. Versatile remote system operation, for machine control and integration, is enabled via the RS232 or ethernet interface. Beam output stability and near service-free reliability is enhanced by a fully machined and sealed robust mounting platform and enclosure that can be mounted kinematically. External facility requirements are limited to an electrical supply and coolant water.
