Description
Phoenix lasers are based on a new generation of Rod-Type Fibres, designed to provide short duration pulses together with a very good beam quality. The lasers employs a Master Oscillator, Power Amplifier (MOPA) configuration combining a short pulse microlaser seed with a rod-type fibre amplifier. Single mode propagation in the fibre ensures a polarised, diffraction limited beam. A rugged head design and a custom control system provides a platform that is ideally suited to industrial applications. A microprocessor architecture allows for serial interfaces and simple synchronisation with OEM equipment and process lines. The laser system has been designed for high-volume manufacturing environments. Phoenix systems are air cooled for maximum convenience. Higher pulse repetition rate versions of the Phoenix are available - please enquire for details.
